Default Not guild wars problem. but computer problem.

with one windows, my comp froze sometimes in startup sometimes in the loadup screen, of the gfx card, the motherboard. or the first winxp loading screen. sometimes 15min after i turned it on. and other windows xp didnt do that "yes had 2 in at once". but then it started to make the start menu go down. so i did a format c: reinstalled windows, and got freezes. then i tried to take one hd out, and use the other. still froze. then the other. out, first in. still froze.
then one ram block out. "got 2" still froze. then the other out. and first in.

well now it wont turn on my screen at all. i tried setting both in again. and clearing my comp. took my gfx card out. nothing wrong to see on it, no brun or brown areas. and the screen work. i can take the stick and set in my laptop "the one im on now" with no problems. so i would ask for your opinion. what can it be? i will get the gfx card testet tomorrow if i can find one with a agp port
its a geforce 6600GT "128DDr3 Ram". cpu: 3400+ amd athlon. 1024ddr ram. maxtor 100GB and 20GB hd.

I really don't have the time to make sense out of that. Tell us what the problem is, when it arises, what changes you have made since the problem started, in an organized manner.

I was able to figure out that you are touching parts, which isn't a good idea. It seems your problem got worse after you messed with the parts, which might mean you static shocked them.

And aside from that, unless the OP was running two OS's side by side (through virtualization or whatever) I'm pretty sure there's absolutely no reason that they would have any way of affecting each other. Not that one can really understand what's being said anyway. :/

Why do people do this? Do they use the search button to find threads they can post in to sound smart or something? I mean, it's ridiculous.

It's always possible that they just used 'search' and happened to not process the dates of the thread they were looking at. I resurrected a year old thread with a hat question over winter break and didn't even realize I'd done it until I checked back and had about a full page of flames. I just went to the first holiday hat thread that stood out as applicable to my question, I didn't even think to check the date. However, I don't know that an accidental overlooking of dates can apply to this situation since Kishpa posted an answer as opposed to a question (which is why people would normally use the search function.)
